Roazhon Canicross

We are participating in the organization of this race at the request of the Rennes athletics stadium which, for the 9th edition of the ROAZHON RUN, wishes to include a canicross among the many races offered on the weekend of September 28 and 29.

The racing regulations applied are those of the French Federation of Canine Sports and Leisure (FFSLC)

The race called Roazhon Canicross is a 5.8km canicross made of towpaths, paths and forest paths.

The start and finish are in the Roazhon Park football stadium.

Registrations

Participants must be physically fit and born in 2006 and before. Dogs aged at least 18 months.

Dog vaccinations must be up to date. All dogs participating in the race must be vaccinated against rabies, parvovirus, leptospirosis, distemper and kennel cough (including and without exception the 2 pathogens: parainfluenza and Bordotella bronchoseptica).

They will begin on June 29, 2024 at 12:01 a.m. and will close on September 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

- For FFSLC licensees: ensure that your profile and your dog's vaccinations are up to date

- For non-FFSLC licensees (All documents must be posted online) for this:

o Create an account on the FFSLC website and complete all the sections of your profile (runner/dog/medical certificate, etc.) https://courses.ffslc.fr/map .

o Medical certificate less than one year old authorizing the practice of canicross with the mention “including in competition” . A medical certificate for running will be refused or the certificate of the health questionnaire less than one year old which you will find at the following link:

- For non-FFSLC and FFPTC licensees a supplement of €5 will be requested, corresponding to the insurance to participate in our competition

PLEASE NOTE : make sure you provide all documents and make payment before the registration deadline.

Any incomplete registration by the closing date will be refused .

Remember to bring your dog's health record and passport on the day of the race.

The course

The route is 5.8km long, there will be a water point at the start and finish as well as at the 2nd and 4th km.
