Canitrail/cani-rando des "Duo"

The event, entitled the 1st "Duo" canitrail, is an 11 km canitrail race and a 10 km cani-rando with 78m of elevation gain. It will take place in Salles-sur-Mer (Ronceveau, behind the recycling center).

Registrations

For the canitrail, participants must be physically fit and born in 2005 or earlier. Dogs must be at least two years old.

For cani-rando, participants must have been born in 2009 or before, and for dogs, at least 18 months old.

Registration is done on the FFSLC Canitrail/cani-rando des "Duo" website.

They will begin on February 16, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and will close on May 1, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.

- For FFSLC licensees: make sure that your profile and your dog's vaccinations are up to date

- For non-FFSLC licensees (All documents must be put online) for this:

o Create an account on the FFSLC website and complete all the sections of your profile (runner/dog/medical certificate, etc.)

o Complete the health questionnaire and provide proof of good health.

- For non-FFSLC and FFPTC licensees, a supplement of €5 will be requested, corresponding to the insurance to participate in our competition.

ATTENTION : Make sure you provide all documents and make payment before the registration deadline.

Any registration incomplete by the closing date will be refused .

Remember to bring your dog's health record and passport with you on the day of the race.

The route

The route is 11km long by canitrail and 10km long by cani-rando, with a 78m elevation gain and a number of paths and crossings of municipal roads protected by signallers. There will be water points along the route.

Recommended equipment for each competitor during the race:

- 1 survival blanket

- 1 phone (charged)

- 500ml of water minimum

- 1 to 2 energy bars

Rates

Canitrail:

€11 for FFSLC and FFPTC licensees, €16 (including €5 insurance) for other dog sports federations and non-licensees.

Dog hiking: €7 for everyone.

Canibaby: Free

Departures

Departures will be in waves every 30 seconds for cantrail. Mass-start for cani-rando.

Parking

Parking will be available from Saturday afternoon for camper vans, tents and light vehicles.

2 dry toilets at your disposal.

Restoration

A D'Joo pizzeria-style food truck will be available on Sunday lunchtimes.

Refreshment bar

Hot and cold drinks will be offered.
