Un magnifique canitrail de 15km et 400m de dénivelé positif vous est proposé au
cœur de la chaîne des puys, patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO.
Sur un parcours à l’ombre et accessible venez découvrir les chemins façonnés par
les volcans et la forêt les recouvrant.
Avec un profil roulant et long, il faudra se méfier des quelques montées raides qui
viendront temporiser votre course effrénée. Ce sera l’occasion de contempler la vue
en haut du Puy de Paugnat, sur la carrière et les Combrailles alentours.
Pour vous encourager vous croiserez des sculptures en bois réalisées par des

About

A magnificent 15km canitrail with a 400m elevation gain is offered to you in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


On a shaded and accessible route, come and discover the paths shaped by the volcanoes and the forest covering them.


With a long, rolling profile, you'll need to be wary of the few steep climbs that will slow down your frantic run. This will be an opportunity to admire the view from the top of Puy de Paugnat, over the quarry and the surrounding Combrailles.


To encourage you, you will come across wooden sculptures made by local artists.

Regulations:
The canitrail regulations of the French Federation of Canine Sports and Leisure, delegate of single-dog sports to the Ministry of Sports, apply:

Our canitrail meets the qualifying requirements for the French championship.

He is also eligible for the Golden Dog classification.

 

Required vaccinations:

CHP (Square, Hepatitis, Parvovirosis) - Leptospirosis - Rabies - Kennel Cough (TC)

 

Registrations:
Registration will begin on July 12, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and will close on October 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
Participants must be of legal age, physically fit, and dogs must be at least 24 months old.
Registration is done in the “races” tab above.


Help for non-FFSLC licensees:
- Create an account on the FFSLC website and complete all the sections of your profile (runner/dog, etc.)
- Complete the health questionnaire and provide the health certificate or medical certificate if necessary.
- An ATP (Other Participation Title) of €5 in addition will be requested, corresponding to the temporary license with insurance.


ATTENTION to all participants: Please ensure you provide all documents and make payment before the registration deadline.


Any incomplete registration by the closing date will be automatically deleted from the platform.

Collection of bibs:
When collecting your bibs:
- Veterinary checks for all participating dogs, in accordance with decree DDPP/PPAE/n° 2011-067 in force in the department.

- Equipment check (elastic lanyard and dimensions, harness or belt, traction harness) for non-licensed users (details and illustrations in the canitrail regulations)
Remember to bring your dog's health record and passport with you on the day of the race.

 

Recommended equipment for each competitor during the race:
- 1 survival blanket
- 1 phone (charged)
- 500ml of water minimum for the dog
- 1 to 2 energy bars

 

Parking:
Parking will be available from 7:00 a.m. No parking before and no camping on site.
